How do I register?

What is the deadline to register for the retreat?
The deadline to register is May 10, 2020.
How do I obtain my tickets for the retreat?
When you register online, you will automatically receive a letter of confirmation from us by e-mail. Simply print this letter or e-mail of confirmation and bring it with you to the conference, or you can show it to us on your cell phone when you arrive at the Bongiorno Conference Center.
Will the sessions be recorded?
No, sessions for this event will not be recorded.
Will books and Judaica be on sale at the retreat?
Yes.
Do you have special prices for children?
Yes, this is a family retreat and we welcome people of all ages. We will also have a children’s program to keep them engaged throughout the conference. See our registration page for pricing.
What information is available about the children’s program?
- Children’s programming is provided for infants through high schoolers during all adult main session
- All conference staff working with the children will submit to a background check and pass a safety course before being allowed to interact with youth.
- Minors are not allowed to wander the campus while sessions are taking place. For their safety, children must either attend the session with a parent/guardian or be present in the provided youth program.
- Parents of nursery-aged children need to provide their own diapers and wipes for their child.
What information is available for the teen’s program?
The teen program will include their own worship leaders, main sessions, games, and activities. A dorm option is available for students who want to stay together under the leader’s supervision. Curfews are maintained and all rooms are gender-specific. Teens staying in the dorm need to provide their own bed linens, pillows, and towels for showers and the pool. Teens staying with their parents will be escorted back to their parents’ room by curfew. Teens staying with parents in regular housing will have bed linens and towels provided. Pool towels are not provided.
What if my child has an allergy?
- Drinks and peanut-free snacks will be provided.
- Special food accommodations are available upon request.
- Please communicate any and all allergies to the childcare staff in advance. Please contact staff in advance if you want to provide an epi-pen for us to have on hand during meetings.
Do we have to pay in advance of the event?
All payments need to be submitted before the event.
Are meals provided?
Eight meals are included for the full weekend package.
If you are attending for one day, you may choose how many meals you would like.
Please provide information about food allergies prior to the event. Also, certain dietary requests are able to be accommodated such as gluten-free, vegetarian, and lactose intolerant.

Do I need to book hotel accommodations for the retreat?
You will need to book your own accomodations only if you choose to attend as a commuter guest. Daily prices do not include accommodations.

Airports
We are approximately 45 minutes from Harrisburg International Airport, 2 hours from Baltimore-Washington International Airport, and 2 hours from Dulles International Airport.
Is there parking at Bongiorno Conference Center?
Yes, there is parking near each housing building.
Can I get additional flyers so I can give them to friends or to my church?
Yes, please contact us for additional flyers.
Can you suggest the dressing attire?
Friday evening and Saturday morning, many people enjoy dressing business casual for the Sabbath. The rest of the event is casual.
Is there a swimming pool and are there any restrictions?
- There is a pool on the premises.
- Pool attire must be modest (e.g., a one-piece bathing suit for women and swim trunks for men).
What should we be mindful of while on the premises?
- Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
- Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
- Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Fireworks and weapons are not allowed.
Is there a schedule we can print out?
A schedule will be available online in May. A printed schedule will be provided when you check in at the Conference Center.
What time does the retreat start and end?
Registration will open at 4:30 PM on Friday before Sabbath dinner, and the conference will end after breakfast Monday morning.
What is your cancellation policy?
Registration may be cancelled with a full refund if notification is made before April 15, 2020. After April 15, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required per person for cancellations.

The Full Conference registration is the best experience you can have at Simcha! You have full access to all the sessions and meals. This cost also includes accommodations!
